Masterlist (of stories) from Santa’s Secret Pen ’21

I first had this idea on a ferry back home from a five-day vacation to Norway in late November, and I prepared everything while on the ferry, setting up the calls on social media, creating the application form, and figuring out the deadlines and logistics of the event. The concept was, of course, a swap of stories where you gave a prompt and got a prompt. I never thought it would actually be a success, with enough participants than I had expected, especially given the short application timeline, so I am very honored and excited to present to you…

You may remember that a while back I shared Amalie’s post about her new Secret Santa exchange for writers! Welp, here’s the masterlist of stories that have been sent in response to the donated prompts ❤

If you want to read some of these but don't know where to start, let me recommend "Daughter of the Rising Tide" (I am o b s e s s e d), "The Wyrd and the Weaver," and "A Fallen Star Finds Love" (the response to my prompt!)

  2. Quick question. can you list who the prompt GIVER was? Also, can you send me what my original prompt that I sent in was? I don’t remember, but I remember liking it, and since it didn’t get written, I think I may want to recycle it? Thanks!

    1. Hi there! The person who got your prompt asked for an extension, so they may still write it. I’ll follow up on that! Otherwise, it’s easier if you jump into email with me, or twitter, and then I can answer your other questions.
